This took me on a trip of highs and lows and smiles and tears. Thank you for sharing your words always. Looking forward to the novel, loving your poems old and new. And of course, happy to note that you have started the healing journey.
Hi Binu - Not sure if you remember me from the OSC cohort two (or was it three) years ago but so glad to have read you again. I remember keeping an eye out for your writing and it’s wonderful to come across it after a while. This journey you’ve shared with us, so much there. Maybe, it’s that we’re adulting that one can empathise more.
Glad it’s becoming easier in ways and hope you continue to laugh more and more.
Look forward to reading more of you, Binu! The cat poem is a special nugget.
Thank you Ayush! I am going to figure out how to go about putting the novel out on Substack. I was sharing some of the information and stories from your posts with my nephew who is a collector of information. He was fascinated. Have asked him to subscribe to your blog.
This was beautiful, Binu 💜 It makes me very happy to see the healing. Please do share your novel here if you'd like. I'm looking forward to reading it already.
Beautiful post. Do share your novel here, if you think it'll help. I remember seeing a couple of substacks that released serialised issue of a novel-length work. Will try to track them down and share with you.
Thanks Rohan😊❤️. And please do share the details of those Substacks when you find them. I am really not up to chasing publishers or agents, which leaves self-publishing it as a book or going the Substack route. Thought I’d try this.
Ohh yeah Binu chechi.. Sakshi would be loved and taken care by Daddy, achamma ,achacha, cheriamma and all.. They all might be having a Gala time over there..And as you rightly said time is the only and the best healer God has gifted us with..❤️
So many emotions that carried me from the first word to the last, like waves - sometimes undulating, sometimes crashing hard. Love you Binu, for looking fear in the eye, befriending your grief, and doing the hard work of honouring the spirit within. Your little girl is proud of you, I'm sure.
P.S. Young, molten-hot, raging poet Binu is s-e-x-y. Kaun kambakht kehta hai yeh cringe hai!
Binu, I truly admire you for your strength and resilience ! Am sure it has certainly helped to put down your thoughts in writing, that too with so much clarity. More power to you and Suresh. Heal and stay healthy. Sakshi would certainly love to see that!
Dear Maya, thanks da. I really only have one true goal - to make Sakshi proud of her mumma. And yes, writing has always been my crutch. As for BCom 😂😂… would you believe it if I said, “I don’t really know!”
Binu, visualised and loved the story of you writing your first poem, the whistling and the visitation… and this line “The greatest friendships are the ones that flow down the ladder like looping spools of DNA.” So happy to read you. ♥️🫶🏼🐈⬛

Sai, thanks for always reading my work and being such a pillar of support ❤️

That’s what I imagine too Anu :). All of them there together having a good laugh. Velliachan doing his funny dances and Sakshi joining in 😁

Swaati, 🤗🤗🤗 thank you for reading deeply as always. And for saying that Sakshi would be proud - that is the big goal 😁.
Mere andhar chupa hua darr is the bloody khambakt. My new policy to deal with the fear is to embrace embarrassment. 😛

When we/I open up we/I realize so much is common in the world of heart and feelings...
Big Huggggg
And you say, you can’t find words! ❤️🤗
Sending you a big huge hug, and you are not my child but I will follow your advice and you will have to be the one to pull away first!! <3

Awww 🥰Thanks Pooja. Tight hug to you too 🤗.
Quite nervous about sharing the novel tbh, but I just need to get it off my system.
