Very melancholic in the atmosphere it crreates. Was this the intention ?

I don't necessarily write poems (unlike my stories) with an intention. I just see where they go.

I used to have banana moments far more than I do now. I don't remember any specific ideas or notes. Now, most of my musing happens in the shower or while driving to work. My favorite moments are when I'm doing something completely unrelated to writing and my unconscious mind has solved some plot issue for me. When that little lightbulb moment happens I get chills.

Aren't those the best - work in your garden and figure out how XY managed to get out of a tight spot! My only gripe would be that I am not always in a postition to note down the idea. Then it is a race to jot it down. It has happened to me a few times while I was driving. Finally downloaded one of those recording apps. But half the time I forget to use them and just repeating and developing the idea as I drive so that I don't forget. :p.

Thanks for reading Karah :).

Vague in detail…precise in visceral. What a beauty!

I have a note where all the story ideas go. I will never work on them. I know it.

Loved reading this and may be you were going for the hindi meaning of Banana. To create. Who knows…?

Lovely to see your substack active Yo!

I like that! Maybe the dream was in hindi and I just didn't realise that :) Thanks for reading @ITA and for the praise. That notebook of yours with the story ideas - you could auction it to the highest bidder :p. I am sure there will be many takers for the same.

Thank you Jayne :) I am so so so happy that you wanted to reread it.

Five years of a romper wearing mouse sounds interesting. That mouse definitely has a story that needs telling :).
